HEXLE provides web hosting and thereby stores information on behalf of its customers. HEXLE is therefore a provider of a hosting service within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on a Single Market for Digital Services (Digital Services Act, DSA).

On this page you can report content stored on our services that you consider to be illegal. Reporting is free of charge, requires no account and is open to any individual or entity.

The more complete your notice, the faster we can decide. Art. 16(2) DSA lists four elements:

1. a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you consider the content to be illegal
2. the exact address (URL) of the content and, where necessary, further information enabling us to locate it
3. your name and e-mail address. This is not required where the notice concerns content connected to one of the offences referred to in Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU
4. a statement confirming your good-faith belief that the information is accurate and complete

• You receive an acknowledgement of receipt without undue delay.
• We process the notice in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner. The assessment is made by HEXLE staff, not by an automated process.
• You receive our decision, including information on the redress possibilities available to you.
• If the notice leads to a restriction, the affected customer receives a statement of reasons under Art. 17 DSA and may object to the measure.

We limit measures to the content concerned, as far as this is technically possible and sufficient to stop the infringement. Where we suspect a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of a person, we inform the competent authorities without delay (Art. 18 DSA).

• If your matter concerns a website that is not hosted by HEXLE, there is nothing we can do. Please contact the respective provider.

We may disregard notices that are manifestly unfounded or repeatedly submitted in bad faith, after issuing a prior warning. Please only report what you genuinely believe to be illegal — a notice can result in a website being taken offline.
